Terms of Use & Medical Disclaimer

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to MySkin: Psoriasis Diary (“MySkin”, “the app”), made by Adis Shirinbek (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to these Terms. They add to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”), which also applies. If the two conflict, the Apple EULA prevails, except for the medical disclaimer below, which always applies.

2. Medical disclaimer

• MySkin is a general wellness and symptom-tracking diary. It helps you record what you notice and share it with your doctor.
• MySkin is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, monitor for, or treat any disease, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
• Affected area, severity numbers, Calm/Flare labels and questionnaire results are based on your own entries and estimates. They are not clinical measurements.
• Medicines and schedules in the built-in list are typical examples for reference only. Always follow what your doctor or pharmacist prescribed, and never start, stop or change a treatment because of something you saw in the app.
• Reminders may be delayed or missed (for example, if notifications are off or the device is offline or switched off). Don't rely on the app as your only reminder for important doses.

3. Urgent symptoms

If you have pus-filled bumps with a fever, red or inflamed skin over most of your body, chills, or feel very unwell — seek medical care immediately. Contact your doctor or call your local emergency number. Don't wait for the app or a report.

4. Subscriptions

• MySkin requires an auto-renewing subscription (MySkin Premium) after onboarding.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Prices are shown in the app and in the App Store before you buy and may vary by country.
• The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your iPhone (or in your Apple Account settings in the App Store). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• To restore a purchase on a new iPhone, use “Restore purchases” in the app.

5. Your data

Your diary is stored on your device and you are responsible for keeping it, including backups. Photos are not included in device backups. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial record-keeping. Don't try to reverse-engineer, copy or redistribute the app or its content except as the law allows.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features. We'll try to give notice of important changes in the app or on this website.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on information in the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
